Legalizing online gambling is a multi-faceted process. Online gambling is usually not even in the law books as much of the Internet is missing, being largely a 90s development.
At the moment, the only Asian country to have legalised online casinos is The Philippines. There is a huge potential market, however, to be captured in Singapore so one can only hope that the Singaporean government chooses to relax its online gambling laws soon and start issuing licences to online casino operators and online gaming sites.
